The filing fee for filing a complaint or counterclaim or cross-claim in Small Claims cases shall be one (1%) percent of the amount claimed for the first one thousand ($1,000.00) dollars and two (2%) percent for all amounts thereafter; provided, that the total filing fee does not exceed the cost of filing a civil case in the Superior Court of Guam. If the case is removed from the Small Claims Division to the Superior Court, the party requesting removal shall pay the required filing fee for a civil case filed at Superior Court.
